As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

He already carried it that far away. Stop walking back to get it.

You keep returning to the thing, picking it up, wearing it again. But God measured the distance He'd put between you and it — east from west, a gap that never closes. If He has set it that far off, you're allowed to stop dragging it home. The guilt you can't release, He already did.
