The distance you feel isn't the distance that's real.
Feeling far from God is not the same as being far. The verse measures nearness by a single thing — calling out, honestly. Not by how strong your faith feels, not by how long it's been. One true cry and the gap you've been staring at closes. He was never as far as the feeling said.
